Probably you'll need to explain a bit about the details of not working
since at this point I have no idea why something that generally works
for most doesn't specifically work for you... I wonder if the error log
might have clues about failures to store the password, for example...

Are you talking about the CVS password, or the password that is asks for
the password store? As far as I know, you can't save the password for
the password store. So even if you save the CVS password, you still
need to provide the password for the password store.

Francis,
For me I seem to never need a password anymore since the password store
feature was introduced. Certainly understanding the details of "not
working" seems important...
