Hi,

I try to contribute a command using the org.eclipse.ui.menus extension
point to an existing menu which was defined inside an actionSet. Is this
at all possible?

If yes, what is the locationUri I can use to specify the menu from the
actionSet?

No, it's not possible. actionSets can't even see other actionSets, so
while actionSets *can* see org.eclipse.ui.menus, contributions from
org.eclipse.ui.menus cannot see actionSets
