Sirs:

I have recently downloaded and installed the (XP platform) Modeling edition
of Ganymede SR-1, available as eclipse-modeling-ganymede-SR1-
incubation-win32.zip. I am now trying to use the Ganymede update site
to install the J2EE and Web projects, and I get errors such as this each
time:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
#No repository found containing:
org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity/osgi.bundle/1.1.0.v200805 160228
#No repository found containing:
org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.feature/org.eclipse.updat e.feature/1.6.0.v200805151245-7_7K0Dn-QXuj8_GoX7JfPiBEG
#No repository found containing:
org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda/osgi.bundle/3.1.2.v20 0805152355
#No repository found containing:
org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda.consumer/osgi.bundle/ 3.1.2.v200805230718
#No repository found containing:
org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda.design/osgi.bundle/3. 0.6.v200805152355
(45 lines or so snipped.)

Why would I be getting these repository errors? Should I go back
to an earlier version? Unlike the other thread I see about Ganymede
update problems, I am not installing into a subdirectory of C:\Program
FIles.

Respectfully,
Eric Jablow

there must be something wrong with updates from 3.4 SR1

my auto-update from 3.4.0 fails on two installations:
- 3.4.0 modeling
- 3.4.0 RCP
but it fails only on those installations I'm working - and always
auto-updating - since ganymede came out

if I'm using the origin 3.4.0 downloads - then auto-updating th
modeling or RCP version works well

all happened under OSX 10.5.5
