Empty problems view (3.4) [message #329508] Thu, 26 June 2008 09:20 Go to next message

I just installed Ganymede and actually the Problems View show an empty
list even if I have plenty of warnings and some compilation error.
I looked at the Configure Content dialog, but all seems ok (I also tried
to change some option).

The error log is clean.

I downloaded the Eclipse Classic distribution and then added some
feature from the Ganymede update site (Mylin, SVN integration, WTP).
I also added Eclemma (plugin for junit test coverate).

If I start with a new workspace the problems view works fine (it show
the errors), but if I open my usual workspace (created with 3.3.1
version of eclipse) the problems view is always empty.

Has anyone some suggestion?

Is this a known problem?

Should I open a bug report?

Thanks,
Andrea

One more thing: I already looked in the bugzilla but didn't find any bug
that seems related to this problem.

Obviously it was my fault, the Error and Warning checks in the Configure
Content dialog weren't selected.

I think I have seen cases where workspaces created in earlier versions of
Eclipse ended up with unhelpful Problems configurations when loaded into
Ganymede. I've never been able to describe the necessary conditions to make
it happen, though :-(
