Hi,

I have autofolding on for convenience (e.g. mylar). When I'm debugging (with
xdebug), everytime I step into another file, this file gets autofolded,
leaving me with an unfocussed folded file. I then have to unfold it
(ctrl-*) and scroll to the debugger pointer myself.

I think it would be better behaviour that at least the function/method
currently debugged is at least unfolded in debug mode.

I'm not sure if this is a pdt issue or an xdebug issue.

grtz,

Chris

ps. Also I might have totally missed a configuration setting that does this
for me, in which case I will be pleased to hear where I can find it.

I can't imagine that this has anything to do with the XDebug support as I don't
do anything with editors, or opening of files. Can anyone confirm the behaviour
is the same with using XDebug and the Zend Debugger ?

This could very well be a mylar issue.

Michael Spector is now asking the same question at the bug entry;

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=193484

In my last comment on that bug (#7) I describe a clean setup which
reproduces the problem.

If anyone could try and reproduce this, especially with the zend debugger,
that would be nice. (even a Xdebug confirmation would be welcome, just to
see it's not a problem on my part alone)

Chris
