It depends on your newsreader. In Outlook Express, for instance, in the
"Newsgroups" header field, you enter the names of all the newsgroups you
wish to post to, delimited by commas.
That way, if someone reads a post on one group, their newsreader will
automatically mark it as "read" in all the other newsgroups they read,
saving much time; and responses in one newsgroup will automatically be
posted to all the other newsgroups, which helps avoid redundant answers.
It's a very valuable feature.
