How to view .classpath file [message #326645] Thu, 27 March 2008 12:11 Go to next message

In the older versions of Eclipse I was able to see the .classpath and
project files while in the resource perspective. Now, with the lastest
version (3.3.2), I am no longer able to see these files in any of the
perspectives. Is there some way to see these files?

These files were checked into the repository and now need to be changed.
It seems crazy to me that I need to get out of Eclipse to commit the
eclipse specific files. Has anyone else ran into this?

Hi

All .* resources are hidden in Package Explorer to unclutter the view.
You may configure the filters applied by selecting the "Filters..."
command in the the view menu (the tiny downward facing arrow to the
right of the view's button bar).

Hope that helps

In addition to Michael's comment: I'm not sure I understand the problem with
committing. Have you tried just doing Team -> Synchronize on the whole
project? All the changed files should show up, including things like
..classpath. The fact that it's hidden from you in some views doesn't mean
that the Team provider doesn't know about it.
