I am having trouble deciding on how to version my things.

I have plugins which have revisions.
I have features which contain those plugins, and have revisions.
I have a product which contains the features, and it can have revisions.

Anyone have a strategy for managing this?

Currently I ensure the feature revision matches the plugin revision. But
of course there is the case where the feature itself has an issue and a
new revision is required. I have ignored this so far.

Then I have my product version alpha 0.1.0. but the features were
upgraded to version 5.x.x. So then do I upgrade my product to 5.x? or
just 0.2.0?? Since lots of these feature revisions are never released to
public.

Tough choices. I am interested in folks current strategies for handling
this. Thanks!
