Hi everyone,

I have several features or plugins in my Help/Software Updates/Manage
Configuration dialog that are disabled, but cannot be uninstalled
(uninstall context menu entry is ghosted). How can I uninstall these
relicts from the past?

The most prominent example would be:

Eclipse Project SDK 3.1.0 (has been superseeded with 3.1.1, but cannot
be uninstalled)

Best regards,

Andreas

When this happens,

I simply backup eclipse directory and delete the plugins and related
features manually.

it works,

BTW: It happens because they weren't installed using the update manager
OR a -clean had been done. The update manager will only allow deletion
of features that it had installed itself. Those that are unzipped on top
are not considered installed by the update manager.
