effectively, I read it was a plugin into Eclipse 2.1.x and it has been
including into Eclipse 3.0. But I would like to install * properly * and
not get two xerces install! Any idea? May be I have to talk directly with
Easy Struts developpers?
In fact I'm lookingfor a good JSP IDE environment. Do you know any other
plugin to do it (open-source and free :-))

Hi,
Afaik the xerces plugin was removed in 3.0 because this version requires an
1.4 level VM and in Java 1.4 there is an Xml parser implementation. So if
you copy the xerces plugin into 3.0 plugins directory you will not get two
xerces install.
However I don't recommend you to do this without deeper knowledge of the
Eclipse architecture. The Easy Struts plugin is Eclipse 2.1-compatible (even
the last version 0.6.4 I think), and has not been updated to Eclipse 3.0.
Probably you have to modify its plugin.xml also because there was a major
"plugin separation" in Eclipse 3.0 to provide a more lightweight skeleton to
RCP applications. Maybe you have to modify the source code of the plugin the
get it work under Eclipse 3.0.
You can try StrutsBox (http://www.strutsbox.de/) for getting some Struts
options in Eclipse 3.0. It also provides a simple JSP editor (syntax
highlighting only).
For more JSP and Struts plugins you can search the two largest Eclipse
plugin site:
