Hi,
I have a small problem in understanding the plugin customization.
I try to customize org.eclipse.update.scheduler which sets default
preference values at runtime.
I read at http://tinyurl.com/4689n that there are several ways of
configuring the plugin, and I would prefer using a
plugin_customization.ini registered in my product.
The document mentioned above has numbered entries, and until now I
thought that point 1, runtime initialization, can be overwritten by the
other options.
But in my experiments, I am not able to change the pref. value using
plugin_customization.ini when it is initialized at runtime.
My question:
How can I overwrite pref values when the plugin using it sets defaults
at runtime?
Thanks
Lorenz

The preference defaults should be applied in the order that they appear
on the web page that you reference. If you find that this is not the
behaviour for you please enter a bug report against Platform/Runtime and
give an example. Thanks.
