I am new to Derby , I installed the derby plug in for eclipse and I am
tried starting the Derby Network server and I get the following error.

Error starting Derby Network Server:
Plugin-in org.eclipse.ajdt.ui was unable to load class
org.eclipse.ajdt.internal.ui.ajde.CachedRuntimeClasspathEntr yResolver.

Can any one help me with that ?

Thnx.

In my experience, AJDT isn't required to use Derby. My suspicion is that
this is an AJDT problem.

Is there any more information in the log ([workspace]/.metadata/.log)
that can shed more light on the problem?

You might consider posting this question (along with a little more
information if available) on the AJDT newsgroup.

I ran a junit test and I get the same ajdt error as follows.

Plug-in org.eclipse.ajdt.ui was unable to load class
org.eclipse.ajdt.internal.ui.ajde.CachedRuntimeClasspathEntr yResolver.
An error occurred while automatically activating bundle
org.eclipse.ajdt.ui (81).

I am going to post this in the ajdt newsgroup mailing list.
The update manager was downloading updates for ajdt when I start eclipse
everytime.
May be that new installation is causing lot of problems for the already
existing project workspace,I think.
When I close eclipse and restart it with the same workspace it says the
workspace is already in use.So I had to start using another workspace and
then switch to the one I want.

Thnx for your help.
