I'm using CVS 1.11.2 under Redhat Linux 9 and and have tried this both
under Eclipse 2.1.2 and Eclipse 3.0 (GTK version) under Fedora 2 Linux
connecting via EXTSSH2. According to the Eclipse CVS FAQ, version
1.11.2 of CVS is compatible with Eclipse (I am aware that it is somewhat
outdated now).
I've successfully got verifymsg scripts to run, so it looks like I am
doing something slightly wrong here, especially as I've checked the
Eclipse FAQs, the newsgroups and the Bugzilla database and any problems
with rcsinfo have apparently been fixed.
I've been careful to disconnect the repository after having updated the
rcsinfo and associated files and to create new projects to test the
effect of the rcsinfo file.
Can anyone please tell me what it is I'm doing wrong (and hopefully that
I'm not too far off the mark :-)).

Checkout Projects from CVS to checkout the project from CVS and have it
inherit the properties of the rcstemplate file. This does make sense
when I think about it.
I find that behaviour a little counter-intuitive as I think checkouts
for CVS projects should be in the Team menu.
Also, I don't know why the rcstemplate isn't applied the first time a
new project is checked in (but this could well be a CVS thing). This
actually suits my purposes really though!
