key bindings for left and right arrow functions? [message #250691] Sun, 02 March 2008 20:32 Go to next message

I'm trying to set up key bindings to work roughly like Wordstar, which
means I need to assign CTRL + S to 'move left one character' and CTRL-D to
'move right...'

But I see no corresponding function in the command list, even when I
'Include unbound commands.'

What am I missing?

Maybe checking out how the Emacs Key Binding schema works helps?

Ah, you're a genius!

The commands are called 'next column' and 'previous column'

They do not currently have a binding to 'left' and 'right' as I originally
expected.

Thanks!
