Adding action to the refactoring main menu [message #249514] Mon, 12 November 2007 15:42

Hello,

I am very new to Eclipse plugin programming. Since a few days, I am trying
to figure out, how to add an Action to the "Refactor" main menu (not the
popup menu). All I have found so far is the menuPath
"org.eclipse.jdt.ui.refactoring.menu", but as I have understood it, this
refers to the popup menu. Is that correct? My questions would be:

- Which dependencies do I have to add?
- Which extension point to use?
- What menuPath to specify for the action?

Regards,
Patrick
