Difference Chart Area Color Error [message #222512] Tue, 06 March 2007 12:50 Go to next message

I am having trouble with the coloring on the Difference Chart. I have
positive and negative fills that cross each other but the area color does
not change; I am sure of the crossing. Some pieces of interest that may be
causing this issue are that the report is using an ODA Data Source as well
as a custom data set. The chart is actually using a Joint Data set
consisting of two of these custom data sets. The common element between
them is a DateTime variable that is used as the X-axis. The development
environment is BIRT 2.2M4 and I am not able to test newer versions.

If anyone has experienced something like this before and can suggest a
solution that would be helpful. Also, if someone could point me in the
direction to where the area fill color is decided in the source code that
would be great.

In the palette, you need to choose Negative/Positive for the color,
otherwise the color won't change.

You can also change the color using scripting, there is an example in the
chart examples view I believe.

Thanks,

David
