I encode a binary stream with the commons-codec Base64 encoder from the Apache group.

The result string is stored in an attribute of an XML Element.

If I try to take a look in the Text Editor, I see nothing. The content seems to be missing.

This also apply If I use an XML Editor inside Eclipse.

However if I open this xml file with a standard text editor outside the platform
everything is fine.

Any Idea ?

I can send a sample upon request as I do not want to pollute this mailing list with
