If I run the server enviroment on my laptop (Win XP) and run java code to
call the BIRT report to generate PDF output of an 8 1/2 x 11 landscape
page, the pdf output looks correct when opened in Acrobat Reader 7.
If I run the same .rptdesign copied to the linux server and run the same
Java code (from my laptop now loaded on the linux server) to call the BIRT
report to generate the PDF, the PDF comes out in portrait and forces the
wrap of each line expanding each pdf page into 2 pages.
Is there something else I need on the linux side to make the pdf render
correctly ? I checked all the .jar(s) in the BIRT library on the linux
server and all the jar files match in name and byte count to the ones I
have on my laptop (Win XP). Is there another related jar that could be
related to jboss 4.0.3 that relates to the render of a PDF ?
Has anyone else seen this happen and how did you fix it ? (if you worked
around it)
Thank you.
Bill
