The use case is:

I have a RCP App with just one perspective.

If the user closes all views the perspective will be closed also.

The only way for him to open a view again is by opening the perspective
again.

The user should not know that there is a perspective ... for him there
should be only views.

Hi Sebastian,

I have the same problem and use case. Have you made any progress on this ?
I know how to hide the title bar and therefore hide the close button, but I
need the title bar, because the view contains some actions.
