I agree with using these as well. The Callisto XSD editor is a good
starting point. Considering the aggressive goals and time line outlined
in the COSMOS proposal, greatly leveraging other project and frameworks
is not just desirable, it is a must. If suspect you are already "there",
but perhaps not everyone else is.

I guess I'm of the impatient sort. SML needs to have parser/validators,
graphical editors, etc. The first set of tools seem obvious. Hopefully,
we can push the use cases through quickly.
However, the real questions on how to map models to either inform or
direct the data collection/aggregation framework (and any persistence
and presentation of said data) will not be as obvious and will likely
result in some lively conversations.
