Hello,

i would like install the docker tooling plugin for Eclipse on STM32CubeIDE. The install process is executed without problems. But if I might open the Docker perspective view, I don't find the docker entry on perspective properties.

I use the 1.12.0 Version of STM32CubeIDE. It worked last year when I installed at first. Since I have reinstalled my OS, I now have to reinstall all other programs as well.

Could anybody help, thanks.

  1. Ensure Eclipse version compatibility (4.4 Luna or newer) and Java 8 or newer installed.
  2. In STM32CubeIDE, go to "Help" > "Install New Software".
  3. Add repository: Name: "Eclipse Docker Tooling".
  4. Check the "Docker Tooling" plugin, follow the installation prompts, and restart STM32CubeIDE.
  5. If the Docker perspective isn't visible, go to "Window" > "Perspective" > "Open Perspective" > "Other" and select Docker.


If issues persist, update STM32CubeIDE and retry steps 3-5.

Hello,

thanks for help. I reinstalled the STM32CubeIDE and at first after Installation "Docker Tooling". Now, I can open the Docker Explorer over "Window" > "Perspective" > "Open Perspective" > "Other".
Unfortunately, the "Container Settings" Tab in "Project Properties -> C/C++ Build -> Settings" isn't displayed.

It works with STM32CubeIDE Version 1.8.0 without problems. Now, the EGit Plugin required the new STM32CubeIDE Version 1.12. I need the EGit plugin to import our projects from GitLab.
Is it possible to get older plugin versions.

I'm starting to despair here.
