Hi there,
I have the following problem... My source lies on a server and it is not
version controlled by cvs or svn. But nevertheless i want to access it
here on my local machine.
Is there any possibility to do this?
Thanks,
Raimund

Possibly. How do you work with those files now (ie, without Eclipse)?

The only thing i want to do with those files is editing them, because on
server side we only have the vi editor to edit them ;-)
Compiling etc. is done directly on the server with the command line. The
files are lying in my own directory so nobody else can edit them and
thats the reason why there is no cvs or similar...
Greets,

Hmm, that's a very unusual circumstance. The only thing i can think of
is to map a drive from your desktop to the server directory, then create
a project in Eclipse that uses the mapped drive as its location.
Hope this helps,
Eric

Thanks for your answer... I'll go to try it
