How to install Tycho on top Maven [message #1842713] Tue, 29 June 2021 09:07 Go to next message

I'm relatively new with Eclipse RCP and has now spent a few days on Google without success trying to figure out how to install Tycho on top Maven to be able to build my plugins with Maven. Nearest I've come is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93r6rOZ5Fkk

I'm using Eclipse RCP IDE: 2021-03 (4.19.0)
That IDE comes with Maven built-in.

Any advice where to look? ...or how to do?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Of course I found the answer to my question directly after I've published it.

Here it is:
https://o7planning.org/10139/install-tycho-for-eclipse

1. Open Window - Preferences in your IDE.
2. Open Maven - Discovery and click on Open Catalog.
3. Search for 'tycho' and select Tycho Configurator and click on Finish.
4. Select Tycho Project Configurators and install it by clicking Next.
5. Install Tycho Project Configurators details by clicking Next.
6. Accept the terms of agreement and click Finish.
7. Continue installation despite warning of 'unsigned content'.
8. Restart Eclipse.
