I had PDT working fine debugging locally. Now I want to debug a remote site. All good I thought.

On the remote site I installed xdebug, and turned it on. I have the Chrome addon for Xdebug and it's nice and green. I can start the site in Eclipse and it loads in Chromium which is nice. In the debug configuration I have set Break at First Line. BUt I get no break, so I drill down a litte, and I see on the Progress window in Eclipse alas it is stuck about 2/3 along the porgress bar on Launching: Waiting for Xdebug Session.

So clearly Xdebug on the server is not phoning home. So I put phpinfo() at top of the index.php that I'm debugging and it reveals:

The key issue being xdebug.remote_host is probably wrong. I kind of thought Eclipse would pass that to the remote PHP server when it loads the page. My question I guess is, am I right in suspecting I should set this explicitly in php.ini to point back at my dev machine, and are there other settings awry?
