The resolution in "LATER", meaning some future release.
You can use GEF inside a MultiPageEditor, a view, or even dialogs. You can
create your own graphical editor implementation from scratch, or you can try
workarounds to the known problems as discussed in previous threads.

Hi Jason
I was wanting to the same thing, with the MultiPageEditor being
automatically generated by EMF.
I found that there are considerable diffiulties as a result of
the different perspectives of Viewer, SelectionSynchronizer
and OutlinePage. But I sort of got it going for an EDiagram.
However I recognised that the underlying classes need an API
revision and since this may be an area where the GMF project
gets involved, why waste time now? I pushed the multi-page
aspect aside, and got on with improving EDiagram.
If you want my side-lined classes, you can have them, but
I certainly wouldn't say they were fully functional. Expect
a tedious time finding out where reimplemented occluded
inherited variables manage to get used after all.
Regards
