Updating AUT to oxygen failed [message #1774643] Wed, 18 October 2017 05:25 Go to next message

Our last AUT was based on eclipse neon and the toolkit was rcp. After setting up the rcp-support plugins the communication between the aut agent and the AUT worked fine.
After updating the AUT on eclipse oxygen (still with rcp) the AUT wasn't listed as running AUT and therefor no observation mode or mapping mode worked at all. The installation was the same as it was for the last AUT.
We moved the rcp plugin ("org.eclipse.jubula.rc.rcp_5.0.0.201706220751") into the plugins folder and inserted the org.eclipse.jubula.rc.rcp@start line at the end of the config file.
We use Jubula 5.0 (the newest version)

There was a bug in the rcp accessor which is already fixed[1]. You can use the rcp accessor from Bug 518547

Thanks for the quick reply.
After downloading the rcp accessor you have posted already the problem is still the same.
We put the plugin into the plugin folder but we still have no object mapping or observation mode enabled.
Is there a way to find out the problem by ourself by log files for example?
We are still using the newest version of Jubula.

First of all please start your application the first time with -clean, since changes in the plug ins occurred this might re setup the rcp accessor from Jubula

Log files might be helpful, but i doubt it.
Most of the time it is happening that our bundles are not even started. If you have Installation Details dialog in your application this would be the easiest to check if everything from Jubula is in your installation. You can e.g. check if the "org.eclipse.jubula.rc.rcp" has the status "Active". If you have an osgi console you can check this in there.
