Hello,
I want to add some charts to my application. As I only need the charts
and nothing else, I assumed that it is enough to download
birt-charts-2_1_0.zip.
However, this file lacks the documentation plugin while it contains them
as feature. Is this a known issue? And is there a tutorial how to add a
simple chart to the application using birt-charts only?

Hi Sebastian,
Please file a bugzilla entry for the documentation plugin being referenced
in the feature, but not present in the package. I don't think this is a big
issue anyway, but we need to fix it in the next release.
As for the tutorial, the package includes a chart.examples plugin which
should be enough to get you started. And if you have any question, you can
check the FAQ: http://www.eclipse.org/birt/faq/Charts_FAQ.doc
