Hello, are there any plans to add netbeans support for xtext? (i.e., generating an editor similar to intellij)

Current plans are to integrate with other IDEs through the Language Server Protocol. Xtext implements this protocol with the upcoming 2.11 version as a language server. IDEs which implement this protocol as clients (see blog post for Visual Studio Code integration) can be connected to Xtext.

So far there are no plans to support this protocol in NetBeans. If they would implement it, you could integrate Xtext into NetBeans as well. You may ask them to do so.

Xtext does not plan to integrate with NetBeans in other ways.
