Introducing a complementary rule engine allowing fuzzy logic could be quite interesting as an alternative to classic approach for more complex behaviour.
I digged a bit and found this one http://jfuzzylogic.sourceforge.net/html/java.html that I think could suit.

Wanted to have your thoughts on this before starting anything.

Could you elaborate on what kind of problems you would want to solve with this?
Would it really be needed to have this as a complete rule engine on its own or couldn't it also be integrated into the existing new rule engine by introducing "fuzzy triggers" and "fuzzy conditions"?
