Dear All,

I have a setup file with everything correctly specified in it. Is there a way to package (for Linux, Mac, Win, ...) an instance of Eclipse with Jenkins or Maven.

I know that I can do it with a product and a target but is there a way to do it from the setup file ?

No, Oomph's Eclipse Installer is an "online" installer that uses p2 to resolve and provision individual installable
units. Of course you can use the installer to install a product (without using a shared bundle pool) and then zip up
that installation. But we have no Jenkins or Maven integration for that.

ok thank you for the confirmation.
I think that provisionning custom environment from setup file with Maven could be interesting.

<goals>eclipse-installer-build<goals>
<args>myIDE.setup</args>

But it needs to develop a maven Mojo ...

If you want to contribute such a thing I suggest to open a bugzilla and ideally provide the code via a Gerrit review.
Let me know if you need assistance with that...
