Hi,
the Eclipse installer managed to update itself (successfully, as I saw the executable was renamed ...)
However, it fails to download from the Mars update site:

Press Back to choose different settings or Cancel to abort.
I can open http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/mars in my browser and get to see the page that says that this is an Eclipse update site.
Does anybody experience the same problem?
Cheers,
Jörg

Yes, that was reported in
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=470900 but if you try
again now (rerun the installer you've already downloaded), that problem
should be fixed (or avoided, rather, with no need for any updates).

Jörg,
Are you on Linux perhaps with GTK3? I've seen this problem on my Ubuntu
15.04 virtual box. I noticed similar problems in the IDE itself, e.g.,
the Preferences... dialog is blank until it's resized. I think it's an
SWT GTK3 problem. I noticed that resizing the simple installer page
causes it to paint, and then the catalog items really are there, they've
just not been painted initially, and that's only a problem with GTK3.
Is that the case for you?
