Is it possible to run CDT 3.1.0 RC0 on Eclipse 3.1.1 (I try also on
Eclipse 3.1.2 with the same result)?
After I download it through the Eclipse update it can't instantiate none
of its plugins getting me the NullPointerException

What's wrong?

CDT 3.1 requires Eclipse 3.2
