"Additional comments" in bugzilla webform get lost on IE 6.0 [message #157012] Fri, 14 November 2003 18:28 Go to next message

Whenever I fill in a bugzilla form incorrectly, I cannot use the back button
because IE is telling me the page has expired. This started happening after
one of my many IE security patches. For example, I spend several minutes
typing in steps to reproduce a bug for the "platform" product, and I forget
to chooes a component like "UI". Now I must completely retype the entire
description of the bug.

Does anyone know how to configure IE to allow the back button to restore the
form's previous state?

I am using Mozilla to edit HTML pages. It may be the best architected
program in the world, but it is a piece of crap in the usability department.

Its strength is not as an HTML editor (don't ask me why they keep
dragging along the Composer component - it has never been any good). But
as a browser and email client, it kicks the snot out of everything I've
ever used for those tasks.
Why on earth aren't you using Dreamweaver or another specialized tool
for editing HTML?
