I have Eclipse 3.1.2 with the web tools plugin installed.

When I'm editing an XML file with .xml extension, there is an function
to validate it. This is nice.

However, when I'm editing an XML file with some other extension (e.g. a
..xsl file), I cannot validate it. It does open in the XML editor though.
