GroupHeader w/ PageBreaks (widow/orphan) [message #156233] Tue, 25 April 2006 20:43 Go to next message

Hey all,
I'm re-creating an existing report in BIRT, and there is some
functionality that I can not figure out. When grouping a table, I can not
seem to control two issues:

*Identifying when the Group Header should be included based on the number
of widow/orphans. I see the option in the CSS stylesheets, but they do
not seem to actually do anything.

*Having a Group Header repeat when the group spans multiple pages (i.e.
'Group X - continued').

Could someone please assist?

Thanks,
-D

I find it hard to believe that BIRT is lacking this functionality - if no
one is responding, unfortunately that will mean that it can not be done as
I certainly can't figure it out :-(
