[atl] ATL 2006 [message #1490] Wed, 13 December 2006 12:54 Go to next message

Hello!

I've download ATL 2006 from CVS as indicated. I am trying to use it
together Eclipse 3.2 and emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.2.1. I already also have
downloaded the antlr.jar and put it within the
eclipse/plugins/org.atl.eclipse.engine_*/lib .
However, always that I try to create a new ATL project, the following
message is presented to me:

The selected wizard could not be started. Reason: Plug-in
org.atl.eclipse.wizard unable to load class
org.atl.eclipse.wizard.atlproject.AtlProjectCreator

I've noted that in fact, the abovementioned class is in
eclipse/plugins/org.atl.eclipse.adt.wizard/bin/org/atl/eclip se/adt/wizard/atlproject
directory. So, what is missing?

Thanks in advance for any help
Franklin.
PS: For the moment, the current ATL 2006 is downloadable only from CVS?

Hi Franklin,

It seems to be an installation problem. Are you working directly from
source or have you exported as deployable plugins?

ATL 2006 is only available from CVS for the moment.

Regards,
Freddy.

Franklin,

After the checkout, did you export the sources as deployable plugins?
If yes, please check if the plugin is exported as "individual JAR archives".

You could also check if the plugin "ATL Wizard" is correctly loaded.
The list of loaded plugins is available here: Help -> About Eclipse SDK
-> Plug-in Details
More details concerning the loading: Help -> About Eclipse SDK ->
Configuration Details
If there is a problem, please try to launch Eclipse with "-clean" option.

Regards,
Freddy.
