Not by a much of a lead, but it appears that Web Development Tools for
Eclipse is the "winner". Unless people want to continue to debate over
the name, can we close this issue?
In my eyes, I see Igor's, Chris' and Alex's votes having the extra
weight seeing as to how they all have pre-existing project codebases
that they *can* donate right away. Can we close this, and move on
before the everyone's enthusiasm dies out? Already the posts seem less
active.
Richard.

Yes please :-)
Igor, I understand that you're not really in love with "Web Development
Tools for Eclipse" (WDTE). Would you still be okay contributing to the
project if we choose this path and not go with SolarEclipse?
There is also room for compromise IMO: SolarEclipse could live on as a
project providing JSP/J2EE tooling built on top of WDTE, for example. What
do you think?
Cheers,
Chris

WDTE - sounds very like a russian acronym for an accident on a road :)
I am ok contributing to it if we choose this path. Just don't want to
repeat some things again... and waste a space with one more dead project
(try to search "eclipse" on SourceForge and you will see tons of dead
projects and many of them related to web&xml)...

Actually only time will show... But what I am like to focus today is XML
tools.

I'm in agreement. WDTE it is... Can we start coding now?
