Logic Example... [message #144033] Thu, 22 July 2004 18:35 Go to next message

I wanted to use the Logic example as a starting point to create a graphical
editing tool. I managed to install the Logic example and use it, but I am
not able to figure out how to set it up, so that I can start editing it for
my purpose.

Also, if someone has edited the Logic example, please give me some tips as
to which classes I should edit and which ones I shouldn't touch. I'm pretty
new to plug-in development.

Thanks!

Swami.

Don't use that as a starting point

Use this -

http://eclipse-wiki.info/GefExamples

the logic / flow examples are good for a second stage of learning

Also, try searching the news group before posting since this is a common
situation for beginners - it was for me too!

Try the smeg example as well that Peter Mayne posted in November last year.
It works with 3.0 without any changes.

I've just started reading again after a break. I'll update smeg for 3.0
after I figure out how to get bendpoints working in my other editor.
