Hello
I'm trying to create an RCP application where users can execute lines of code similar to how you execute code using the display view when a program has stopped at a breakpoint. One very essential component is the auto-complete functionality that exists in the normal editor and in the display view.
Having very limited experience of RCP development I'm not even sure if this is possible or if it's the correct approach to use RCP. I would therefore very much appreciate any help with where to start.
So my questions are:
Can I, and if so how, stop a program during a run, execute userinputed code and then continue the program?
Can I create an input-field that can give auto-completion from and only from the jar file that the program runs from?
Thanks very much for any help
Regards
