Hi
I am new to both linux and eclipse. I have installed eclipse 3.3 on my
linux x86 machine. I assume installing on linux meant just extracting from
the archive and copying into some desired location. I did so at the
following path:

/usr/IDES/eclipse 3.3/

I can launch eclipse with no problem, however when I tried to create a
plug in to add my tool chain, I ran it by run > debug as > eclipse
application, it gives an error:

usr/lib/Eclipse: not found

I am not quite sure what is missing. Any pointers please?

Thanks
Samie
PS I am following the cookbook approach described in section of the
document: CDT plug-in developer guide found at:

http://help.eclipse.org/help33/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. cdt.doc.isv/guide/mbs/extensibilityGuide/Managed_Build_Exten sibility.html
