Hello all,

My subtle problem is that the VE properties window is empty when pointing
to a visual class element (a button, panel etc.) - what can be the cause
and how can I solve the problem to use the helpful feature again?

I have reinstalled eclipse, VE, restarted computer but nothing helps.
I am using latest release VE 1.1.0.1 with eclipse 3.1 and EMF 2.1.0, GEF
3.1

If you have any idea please write a hint!

Ania

Hello,

Thank you for your answer!

Yes there is a .log file, but it was last written in February so I don't
think this is the reason - I can send it, but it's few pages long.

Nope. If there is nothing in the .log then I have no idea why the
properties view is empty.
