I'm running eclipse 3.2 on a Windows XP Pro box with the Visual Editor 1.2.0
However I also this same problem with 3.1.
There are times while typing code in the source tab of the Visual Editor
that code will suddenly jump or shift down or to the right for no
apparent reason. I'm sure there is oviously a reason but I can't figure
out what is triggering it and it is REALLY annoying. I have even set
all the eclipse settings back to their defaults.
Any ideas?
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

There is one possiblity that I can think of. On the Beans Viewer there
is button that looks like two arrows going opposite directions. Make
sure that is turned off. The button is trying follow where you are in
the editor and when it sees that you are over one of the beans it will
cause the graph and tree viewers to select that bean. Normally when you
select something in the tree/graph viewer we will move the code viewer
to the bean that was selected. I'm thinking that with that option turned
on it is treating the selection of the bean as if you had selected it
and then would move the code viewer. But I'm not sure about this. Nobody
else has complained about this so we haven't heard of this before. Nor
have we seen it in any of our testing.

That button was selected.
I unselected it and will see if that fixes the problem.
Thanks for your input!
