Error trying to launch eclipse after installed on Solaris Sparc [message #108919]

Dear Thien

I do not know solaris but I would say:
try search and find the file libgtk-x11-2.0.so

if found then
the solaris system is missing a search-path to determine where it is.
i just googled for it, there are several finds dealing with that.
else
the libgtk-x11 is not installed

Do you have GTK+ installed? What version? Solaris 8 did not
ship with GTK+ so you will have to install this yourself. Eclipse
requires GTK+ version 2.2.1 or newer.

Thank you. I deleted the package and installed the motif version of
Solaris and it works now.
