Good morning to everyone, this is my first message here in the Eclipse Community Forum.

I have a serious problem when I try to launch in execution anything Web Java Project in Eclipse on Tomcat application server, stopping all my project developing.

First of all Eclipse seems not to recognize the J2EE library that should be present in Tomcat itself: in fact the IDE underline as error keyword as javax.servlet. etc...but instead it normally recognise the J2SE library, regulary pre-installed on PC.

Then when I click on the run button the returned error message is: "Removing obsolete files from server...Could not clean server of obsolete files: end of file reached..."

I tried to unistall e reinstall Tomcat but nothing change. What's the problem and how I can resolve it ? Thanks very much for your help.

What do you mean by a "Web Java Project"? How are you launching Tomcat?
