I am a newcommer to linux, I just full installed redhat8.0 and jdk1.4.2.
then unzip the eclipse-SDK-2.1.1-linux-motif package, run eclipse and got
the result .log file, content as below, somebody help me!!!!

Your picking up gcj instead of a sun JDK. Start eclipse with -vm <Path
to Java>.
