Unable to start S60 3rd FP1 Emulator from Eclipse [message #28963] |

Hi,
should it be possible to start other emulators than WTK? I installed S60
3rd FP1 and was also able to import the according configurations. When I
try to start a MIDlet with that configuration, an emulator progress dialog
occurs and throws an exception 'Jar file could not be
initialized/java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry compressed size
(expected 307 but got 308 bytes)
Is this a bug or did I something wrong and how can I overcome this?
Regards,
Wolfgang

I finally found a solution for the problem: It seems to be a problem of
the build process of MTJ (automatic building seems not to work correctly).
When I turn off automatic build or when I clean the project, starting the
emulator is possible. There are also some problems with endless loops when
I turn on 'Build Automatically', but I don't know ho to reproduce this, it
just happens from time to time.

as far as i remeber there as an issue with the S60 emulators and eclipse
(from 3.3 on). S40 sdks work fine.
that's why it fails during the execution. i'm not sure if this is already
changes on the sdk or if there is workaround
:)
