I am very new to Eclipse.
I have inherited an existing RCP app that consists of a perspective that
has 2 views associated with it.

I have been assigned to provide product branding to this application.
I have been reading all the archive information, as well as the help and
any other online information including the product branding article, and
am still lost.

Do I just need to make a product extension point in the RCP application
plugin.xml and then specify that in the config.ini? Or do I actually have
to go into the .java files and extend the classes?

I tried to add an extension point, like the one in the documentation to my
RCP application plugin.xml file, then did an eclipse.product= my product,
in the config.ini file, but nothing seemed to work.

Can someone please help?
Thanks
Sherri

If you download 3.1M5, there is all kinds of support to manage a product in
the PDE.
See the PDE category at
