Hi,

The built in eclipse compare editor is quite good but is there a way to
override it and customize eclipse to use a third party compare-editor when
doing file comparisons?

Using a plugin from http://divbyzero.com,
( http://divbyzero.com/eclipse/projects/eclipseexternaltoolsla uncher/com.divbyzero.eclipseexternaltoolslauncher_0.2.2.zip)
I could launch "Beyond Comapre" from within eclipse.

However in the Team-Synchronize perpsective, Synchronize view, double
clicking a file, launches the built-in default compare editor to compare
the local file with its copy on the remote sccs system.

I would like to launch Beyond-Compare instead, so the question.

thx
