Hi I am switching from eclipse 2.1 to eclipse 3.1.

But there a feature that I can not find in eclipse 3.*.

In eclipse 2.1, when i was on the perspective "CVS Repository Exploring" I
was able to use "Check Out Into..." on a module into the view 'CVS
Repositories'. This feature allowed me to map a module to an existing
project.

For example the cvs module "development/Java" became the folder
"MyProject/rep" into an exsiting project. Obviously the link were kept and
I was able to work, making commit, updating etc ... Because
"MyProject/rep" were linked to the CVS repository.

But with the 3.* I am not able to reproduce this. I mean if I want the
module "developement/Java" to be connected to "MyProject/rep" I can not.
First "Check Out Into ..." disappear from the view "CVS Repositories" of
the perspective 'CVS Repository Exploring'. Only left "Check out" that
create a Java project with an arbitrary name and structure. And left
"Check Out As ..." that allows me create "MyProject/rep" but does not keep
the link between the two. "MyProject/rep" is not a CVS directory after
"Check Out As ..."

Perhaps I miss someting but is there a way to do this again ?

Thanks for any response :) :)

EJ,

I performed a Checkout As, choose the option to checkout into an
existing folder and the result was the same as the old Checkout Into.
This was with the latest 3.1 integration build but this code has not
changed since 3.0.
