Today, we released the BIRT Report Object Model (ROM) specifications which
detail the elements that make up the design of a report. The
specifications describe visual layout, report structure, data
presentation, scripting, libraries, styles and more. Not all of this will
be in release 1; the specifications identify which are in the first
release and which will come later.
